About
Linking back to the brand (and founder’s) Kentish roots was important for this brief. Marketing imagery was inspired by the landscapes found in our very own ‘Garden of England’ whilst the packaging design was kept clean, typographic and reminiscent of printing presses.

Results
A well-received launch and a feature on the much lauded packaging and design website The Dieline.

Farmstand

About
Umbrella has been working
with Farmstand since it was just a rubbled site with a big vision. We’ve since spent the last year guiding their creative direction, designing all their POS and marketing collateral, and helping them to grow. We are currently working on a brand and messaging update, as they open three new sites. 

Results
An incredible first year that has seen them turn a profit in the first 6 months, launch a product range in Planet Organic, set up 17 concession stands, and an off-site catering arm.

Bonhams Restaurant

About
To help Bonhams market its new restaurant and recent Michelin star, Umbrella built them a dedicated website with a bespoke CMS for easy and quick menu updates that the kitchen could do daily. Our creative approach focussed on clean and modern design with just a touch of abstract still-life photography as a nod to some of the wonderful pieces Bonhams’ sells.

Results
Increased website traffic, customer data acquisition and bookings via the website portal.

About
We were asked to help our client realise a life long dream: to create a British hot sauce with more than a dash of character. Our job was to balance leftfield and coarse humour with a premium and quintessentially British feel. We picked a broad team for this brief, bringing in illustrators, cartoonists, designers and comedians to develop the concepts before picking a final route.

About
Wholey Moly had a great name and a great product but lacked a strong identity when it came to how to express themselves to trade. Our job was to help them do just that, by turning a healthy biscuit into something playful, bold and instantly loveable.

BOL

About
Umbrella were brought on early in BOL’s journey, to help them launch their first ATL and sampling campaign. Based on the insight that their consumers were far from too lazy to cook, and were in fact prioritising other exciting things over food prep, our campaign was a simple reflection of modern demands; Super People need Super Food.

Results
6000 lunches given away in just 8 hours, and BOL’s biggest advertising campaign to date. 200,000 impressions on social.

TAPPED

About
Coming on board once initial concepts were set, Umbrella helped craft the richness and story for TAPPED, adding meat to the bones as it were. Developing the brand we worked up copy, imagery, films and a simple website, got a great trade launch off the ground and produced their POS toolkit.

Results
A strong launch with sales far exceeding expectations and a brand that has since won numerous design awards.

ScandiKitchen

About
After 10 years on the block ScandiKitchen certainly know a thing or two about good Scandinavian food but in 2017, it was time for a little refresh to take the brand further than they had ever been before. Our job was to be sensitive to the brand Bronte and Jonas had spent a decade building, whilst giving them a suite of assets and visuals that matched their ambitious plans.

Results
This work is ongoing but so far we’ve made them very happy.
